Notes
This run was primarily a tryout for the new shoes. The first thing I noticed was the cushioning (this was without the insoles). It was nice; felt cushy, so to speak. Wonder how many miles before that goes away, though. Second thing was I was feeling my right toes touching the shoe. Odd, because my left foot has always been the longer one. Worried me about impending blisters, but post-run, no evidence of problem. Little toe no worse than with VFFs.
As for the run, I felt pretty good, better than yesterday. Just took it easy. Quite a few runners and bikers out, everyone friendly. Thunderstorm in the south, light rain seemed to be all around me, but not directly on me.
