Whew! This was more taxing than the marathon, due to the humidity and perhaps the blood donation. Seriously, I was beat about eight miles into it, and near heat exhaustion in the last mile. I forced myself to pick up the pace midway, because it seemed plodding. That might have been a mistake. Now recovering.
It was actually a beautiful afternoon, post-rain showers.
