So this afternoon I got this idea to actually examine my calf. Yes, there was mild localized soft tissue pain, but the swelling was startling. I don't think a pulled muscle causes swelling like that. As the day went on, I convinced myself that this might be a DVT, and it might be an emergency, so DW and I went to the emergency room around 9:30. Got X rays, Doppler, and blood work. Negative. All I got out of it was RX for pain meds, which I don't need.
