Notes
Got there right on schedule, just before 7:30. DD was already there, and we hung out until line-up time. First two miles were close to goal time, but I knew it wasn't going to get easier; quite the opposite. I don't seem to be able to push myself like I used to. Mile 3 took me up the west loop and I was still staying near two women who were near my pace. Mile 4 with the killer hill got to me - I didn't have strength for any speed up the hill, though I did pass a couple of walkers. Mile 5 didn't seem so bad, since I knew what I was in for. Hung around and chatted with a few people. DD had to leave for fencing before awards.
