Ash is really poor at pacing. Splits: 8:18, 8:48, 10:01, 10:51. He was really dragging in the second half, and we stopped to rest a couple of times. That helped. He wanted to try out wallowing in mud, but I wasn't keen on the idea. His behavior was really good, though. Good thing I didn't need a warm-up.
