Well, I thought this was a PR effort, but missed that by 13 seconds. First in AG is good enough. The Thunder Run is supposed to be a hot race, so this took us by surprise. The north wind was brutal during our warmup, but eased a tad for the race. Definitely felt the hindrance on the northbound parts and the help on the southbound parts. This felt like I was at my VO2 max; breathing hard throughout. As I said, nice to get first AG.
