Beautiful weather; needn't have worried about that. Rode out with DD, after a couple of stops so she could buy green striped knee socks. I didn't wear anything special other than a previous LC shIrt. Actually, what was New and different was wearing just shorts and a T Shirt. My strategy was to stay as relaxed and quick as I could throughout, and I think I accomplished that.I really enjoyed the run, with all its challenges. Much meltage, much mud and wood chips, much congestIon, since I had to get past even the 10 and 11 minute women on narrow lanes and trails. That said, I didn't really mind, it was such a nice day and nice location, and I was feeling good. I was passing people the whole way. I think I paced myself well. It would have been a PR on a clearer course. Got photos with my work homies, Michael G, David F, Tyler A, Jess R, Eric P. Taylor was working as a bicycle course monitor. Chatted with Derek and Ashley after the race. Happy with it.
