Didn't have a strategy until the starting gun. I chose to run it briskly but comfortably. This was not an all out effort. I kept it within my comfort level throughout the race. The route was congested in quite a number of places. I was feeling strong, and could see that all the people I passed were not in the kind of shape I was in. I don't think anyone passed me and stayed past. My form felt smooth and good. Maintained to the very end. Nice.
Saw Dave Franzen, Eric Price and his wife, and JP Richardson. Also saw Mike Murphy. Jess, Jess, and Taylor were supposed to be there, but I didn't see them. Had my free Ethan's Stout and a not-free Goodcents sandwich afterward.
There are anomalies in the reported results. Everything specific to me shows place 206, but in the overall listing I'm at 311. That seems too large a discrepancy for just chip vs. gun time. Still studying.
