Okay, rain and almost sleet. We were all huddled at the start line, and when it was evident that the race had started, we began walking. We were still walking for a hundred yards beyond the start. That was when I decided heck with it, I'll just trot along with DD and enjoy the sleet. Afterward, they said they had a record turnout.
Lots of people with turkey hats, a guy with a pumpkin pie hat, and, most unusual, the SS Gravyboat guy.
Kind of embarrassing to find out later that I won my AG. Thought I must have been the only one, but no, there were 15. Not a competitive day.
