Went with Ginger, Carol, Hillary, and Kayla. They all ran the two mile.
This was an out-and-back, not chip-timed, so I lined up pretty close to the starting line. Went out pretty hard, and it was pretty hard without a warmup. Once the starting group had settled into our places, no one passed me, and I only passed one person, who stopped to walk in the last quarter mile. The first mile was long, but the rest went quickly enough. It was hard, though. There were about four long hills, which were hard, but I maintained pace. Finished strong, with my group cheering for me at the final turn.
