Couldn't make a run happen during the week in Seattle, so this was after a considerable hiatus. As is common, had doubts during the first mile as to whether I would go the full ten, but got into the rhythm and it wasn't bad.
Met up with a man who was wearing VFFs; ran alongside and chatted for a while, until he said you're faster than I, so go ahead. He is currently only running about three miles in them; he's more of a bicyclist.
Had to deal with ice in places.
Glutes were complaining toward the end; not badly though. Haven't had that feeling before.
