Figured there's no time like now to try out the new shoes. Wow, I haven't felt cushioning in a shoe in a long time. I think I'd wear out the heels quickly; I'm dragging them a log. Soles are thick and there's probably some significant drop. Maybe I'll try them again when my legs aren't so tired, or they may just become everyday shoes or biking shoes. As to the run, we saw squirrels, dogs, and a FedEx truck. I made Sage walk past the truck without pulling. I'm mean.
