After a weird morning with a stat lab delivery and missing first service at church, this run should have been a stabilizer in the day. The running part was good, but when I got to the lake I encountered a hoard of people - I'm talking thousands - there for a Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. I was running on the trail along the north shore when they took off on the road. Took off isn't the right term, 'cause they pretty much just had to stand there as the mob began to thin. I was there for the starting gun, anyway. An okay run.
