Over three inches of rain in the night resulted in ducks swimming where I had planned to be running. Both south and north shores were flooded in places. I came to the 70th street underpass and didn't want to turn back, so I waded through a foot of water. On the return I made a surface crossing, probably entailing a good deal more risk from the traffic. Lots of people in the park, including one woman who said hello Larry. I have no clue who she is. :( As for me, my legs felt strong, and it wasn't a bad run. I haven't fully adapted to the weather, though.
