Back in Bikilas, had plenty of sleep, so this run has promise. The trail was packed with HS kids. They were polite and friendly. Glad to see so many of them. Learned at their Old Cheney turnaround that they are the Lincoln East CC team. Cyclists did not strike me as so polite today, but most people were friendly. I felt my form and stride were excellent, and that maybe some of the kids could learn something from me as i passed(!) them. One of them was evidently taken with the Vibrams.
Around mile 8 I decided to push it to near marathon pace. The result was a mild side stitch. I blame last night's pizza. Overall, however, it was quite good.
