Notes
Didn't arrive any too early, and had 1/2 mile walk from car to race. Barely had time to pick up packet & use restroom. Kinda missed the national anthem. First 1/2 mile has an upward slant, and considering the initial crowd, I was happy to see it was under 9:00. Mile 2 wasn't a problem, 3 & 4 didn't surprise me being over, with the gravel at Grandpa's Woods.
Held on well for 5 & 6. Woman with quick cadence was pacing just behind me in the 2nd half - she thanked me for pulling her along. Saw tres amigos (David F, Marcus E, Derek T) before race, and had dinner with them afterward. Also saw Brian F. Mike M won AG, but I didn't see him. Excellent food again, catered by chef au chef. Good live band.
