It was my plan to take Sage to Wilderness Park, but she declined, so this became my own run. Nice to be someplace different. Lots happening on both trails - the trail access under Old Cheney has been spruced up. Rock Island connector bridge is in place, not opened yet, but the concrete ramp up to it is fully completed, and sod started around it. Further south, a huge overpass for the South Beltway is being built. There was even a flagman on the trail to keep us safe from the trucks. Further south, there was a wedding photo shoot. As for me, legs felt good, progressively better, it seems. Right knee still a little wonky, but okay. People on the trail were friendly. Weather was perfect. Garmin thinks I climbed 110 flights of stairs.
