After nighttime rain. The outgoing part especially was something of a slog, due to SW wind and morning sluggishness in my legs. Return trip better, and pace faster than it felt, which is a good thing. North shore looks different when there's light. A few others out; one lady acted like an old acquaintance; I have no idea who she is.
