Got up at 5:00 am to watch cranes. Running on 5.5 hours sleep. Didn't really know where I was going, so I took my phone for gps. The trails were wide and new. GI is clearly working hard on a trails system, and this is a very good start. It's a mix of parks, residential areas, and industrial/gravel pit settings. Also, I had to do the east side of the run right on Locust street, which wasn't terribly nice. Loop around the park was nice, and all in all, the run was nice. It was particularly cool to meet a flock of about 30 turkeys, with several toms in full strut. Met maybe ten runners.
