I lined up behind Abby and Eddie, but that's not my speed any more, evidently. I didn't feel bad, just didn't have any 7:40 in me. So, I plugged out a solid 8:13. Great support along the course. The final bridge didn't kill me.
50 states, 6500 runners involved, so this race is a pretty big deal. I continue to marvel at what a good job Ben and Jason do in putting this on. Saw Amanda and Renee at the start. Saw Ashley and Derek at the finish, as well as Sue W and Brian F. Didn't see any LI-COR people.
Garmin measured this course short. As usual, I give benefit of the doubt to the certified course and timing.
