This was the Morning of Walking Women. There were male runners, but all of the women seemed to be walkers. They're finally fixing the concrete at the Cooper end of the trail. I detoured to the south, attempting to make it an equivalent distance. Sue and her husband passed me on the way back. She was chatty, of course.
