Very dark, clear, and cool. Accompanied by several friendly constellations, then got to watch the morning dawn in the east. It was a fine morning for running, in spite of my concern about running four consecutive mornings. I wasn't fast, obviously, but it felt very good. Soles felt as good as they have ever felt. I discovered that running on the street is much preferable in that block where the oak and linden trees keep dropping the stuff on the sidewalk. Now it's time to start my pre-race taper.
