I felt good this morning. I wasn't looking forward to getting up and I slept poorly but maybe that helped me be wide awake by 5. It was a large lead group today and only 1 got dropped on the first hill. Today's route was called Hugh's Hills and I knew the area was hilly, but the online MapMyRun only showed 130 ft of elevation gain. Turned out to be more like 500 ft with 2 steep ones. The pace was easy for me on those though and the final mile was a long downhill so we got to stretch our legs a bit.
I put on my racing shoes and did 6 x 30se hills that felt mostly good. I tried a new hill which was nice but not perfect.
