Track Workout.

That hasn't worked well in years but today was fine. Glad I planned on today instead of Saturday (colder, but hardly any wind).
2.5mile warmup including a tempo piece and a bathroom break. Then I realized I didn't bring my normal flats (that's why I get for assuming everything I need is in my car). I did have my old piranhas (really light flats) though. I was concerned about wearing these, but they felt fine (we'll see in a day or two though).
I started with a 400 in 1:18. A little faster than I would have thought. 600 in 1:57. So I just stuck with this pace for 6 800's (2:35, 2:35, 2:33, 2:34, 2:33, 2:32). Surprisingly, I kept a similar pace without ever checking a split (I decided it was too cold for exposed watches).
Finished with 4 30sec sprints. Good day, not sure what this is training me for, but...
