Notes
Another Thorsday, I handled it much better. The conditions were nice, I didn't even notice the humidity (it was high and I did sweat a good amount). Large group as a high school group showed up. They took control once we hit the north shore trail and the pace dropped under 7. 2 miles later we were under 6:30 for a bit. But I felt much much better than last week and the faster pace felt easier. I was in the back of the pack, however, so I ended up with the 2nd group after the main hill. We started gaining back on the front group but eased off to keep some runners with us. That was probably a good decision despite my competitive yearnings. The spillway was fine to cross and the trails felt great (though I still need to work on my climbing legs).
