The sun was shining and over 20degrees, and with a workout this was the first run in a long time that I was just warm all over. A mile and a half in I turned around to find a bathroom. My go-to condo development from last spring/summer still had some thankfully. Next up was tempo to further warm up and I was happily under 5:50 pace, though I only went about a mile and a quarter.
The warm and happy legs continued though as I did 2 x mile. The first in a surprise 5:15 that wasn't super taxing. I didn't want to slow down for the 2nd and I didn't with another 5:15, and better yet it felt about the same.
2 throwaway hill repeats before the main event: 200's. I found an ideal sidewalk for these and hovered around 4:20 pace. The goal was at least 6 but ended up being only 6 as I was getting tired and my 6th was my slowest. So maybe the 200's weren't the main event. I'm still getting used to these kind of sprint-d workouts!
