Notes
Took a needed day off yesterday (probably needed today off too but...). Drew and I were joined by Tyler Sullivan who we've ran into at races over the years (Drew more so). He got us going slow the first couple miles and we never got under 7:20. Drew had trouble holding back, even I pressured the pace throughout. But that combined with a nice afternoon and a new person to chat with suddenly got us to 5 miles.
My quad soreness came back a few miles later, which is worrisome. I asked Drew about getting to Brooklynn before Brittney's volleyball and all of a sudden Drew took off, tempoing the final 1/2 mile to his car (it all worked out).
