Notes
Forcing a workout on myself as I'm feeling lazy, though an easier effort was planned to save energy for another Saturday workout.
I eased into a ~10min tempo that wasn't too fast but felt good. Then I started to do some hill repeats that didn't feel good. I think I made a few strategic errors, mainly choosing the wrong hill to go up after the one I wanted was busy. This new one was just a little too steep, not quite long enough, and halfway into the wind. So I tried to focus on form and not dig too deep.
The return trip/cooldown felt great and I was cruising, that is until the final uphill into the wind, that beat me up.
I feel like I'm taking a while to recover from this 10k, maybe I shouldn't be surprised (10k's are hard), but my rest between races is going to be pretty short in April so hopefully I'll recover faster.
