I'm getting 1 run in La Crosse proper and in the past that has left me excited to either run to the high school track or to Hixon trails. I wasn't feeling either today because...
Track
1) Legs were rather stiff waking up this morning
2) It was cold and windy
Hixon
1) Loss of wonder: I've now done basically all the trails Hixon has to offer
2)
3) Despair: I feel like I want to avoid a place of such failure and exhaustion
I'll get back to enjoying Hixon again. Today I kept to the nearby Grandad trails and kept it easy. 1st time I've ever been at the top of the bluff all by myself. Surprised I got over 50 minutes too.
