My 5k simulator didn't quite make me feel great about a 5k. Maybe the middle school cement track just ruins me. Of course there were hurdles and flood water in lane 1 and 2, as well as some wind. Also I think I should stop wearing my old piranhas on hard surfaces and getting new ds trainers would be nice. 1200m at or below 5k, went out to fast; 2miles tempo, this felt pretty good for being tired and going into the wind; 800m faster than 5k, again started too fast after putting on piranhas, was suppose to do 1200m but axed it.
