I had this tempo in mind all week, and maybe I should have postponed it for tomorrow, but I just went for it. The plan was 30min tempo.

The warmup felt good but the first 10min of tempo were a chore. I had also misread the wind (SW not SE ya dumb dumb) and that resulted in most of the tempo being in the wind. That is probably for the best though as I've been avoiding the wind during workouts and from now on all my races will be outside where, who knows, there might be wind.

I started feeling good about halfway (which roughly correlated with getting the wind at my back, but I don't think that was 100% the reason), and cruised through Grey's Lake and parts of downtown. I timed it to finish close to my apartment as I wasn't looking for miles today.
