I waited until the travel day yesterday for the day off. It's been a good vacation: relaxing while getting outdoors a lot and watching Nessa become the water dog that she is. Running was great and also got in some kayaking, biking, and fishing. I didn't do much for abs or strength work (upper or lower) so it will be nice to be home and back on a schedule.
Today was another step towards quality workouts. At different times I both felt that this workout was too easy or too hard. It ended up being 3 x 2 hills.
The 1st hill was gravel, about 1/3rd mile, and took me a little under 2min both times. Quite tiring as the gravel got steep.
2nd hill was paved and nearly as long. These were about 1:40.
Finished up with 2 ~45sec sprints up another gravel hill.
I haven't really done hill repeats in ages. You sure do get out of breath by the top.
