I should have waited a little longer to run as the grass was still dewy and some clouds were blocking the sun. And at 45degrees, that meant my feet got a tad numb while barefoot.
I wanted to do a light workout for a few reasons. Partly to just shake things up in training. And also remember a few experiences where injuries went away once I started racing. Not that I was trying to or even able to mimic a race, but I thought a different kind of stress on the knee couldn't hurt.
3 x 1/3 mile, started at 5:30pace, and went slightly faster each time.
