Plenty of concerns for this workout as I doubled yesterday and neither run felt super. I woke up with my stomach still unhappy. My heart rate said go for it. A long warm-up probably didn't hurt as I did 4.5miles and gradually felt better.
Today's workout was a repeat of one from a few weeks back with Sutton: 12 x 30sec f&r w/ a long 90sec recovery.
I started off under 5min pace and built off that. I told myself to get through 4 relaxed. That went well and I got through halfway feeling good. All of a sudden I had done 8 and was pretty happy to only have 4 to go.
9 and 10 hurt a good amount, maybe because 8 was quite fast according to GPS. The last 2 were fast again as I had the end in sight. Only a mile needed to get back home which meant just a mile cool-down (should have gone for 10 for the day).
