Notes

After a failed trip to the Bike Collective, Hazard and I drove down to Banner Lakes (~20min drive), him to ride, I to run. It's a pretty cool place. The trails are very meant-for-mountain-biking, but that's probably a good thing since if it wasn't so hilly and twisty, then there would probably only be enough space for a few miles of trail.

I started off excited and passed some bikers and a walker, but soon realized I needed to slow down - these were steep ascents and I wasn't looking to push myself. I settled into a good pace and enjoyed exploring. I think I did about everything in a loop, which ended up being about 7 miles, which I would say is about the minimum for a good destination. It would be pretty easy to add on a few miles or do it all in reverse for a long run.

The park certainly makes use everything it has. There's maybe 10m elevation change in the area but it feels like a really hilly run.

**Month Summary

Not a bad month of training, sadly the most miles I've had since September. I doubt April will be more since I'll do more racing.

Our last 5 months of mileage have been very similar. Also, great name for a pair of shoes!

Nutmeg

Yes, well it's predecessor was 'Dark Blue' so I kept the theme.

I never really connected Dark Blue with the song. I always assumed it was just based on color.
