Classic Pasche workout with Drew. Or at least I thought it was classic, Drew said he never did it in college (Long D only?). So 2-4-1-4-2 min w/ half recovery @ 5k-10k-1k-10k-5k. I threw in a tempo beforehand to warm up (5:55.55!).

We started the meat of the workout going into downtown. Not idea, but we only had a few hesitations, never stalled. My GPS had some problems through downtown though. I think the end result was correct, but the instantaneous pace seemed off. So I depended on my internal how-do-feel-o-meter, which did a good job. The 5k was around 5:20 pace, 10k 5:30 pace, and 3k 5:05. Everything felt fairly good.

Finally, to add some more symmetry to the day, I finished with a 1 mile tempo on my own, 5:50. Right as I was getting into rhythm, my back and glutes tightened up. Good workout. Next goal, a lunch or post-work workout.
