Notes
Originally I was going to run in the morning then drive back to Columbia. But we decided to get on the road sooner. We didn't start packing as soon as we wanted and then the sirens went off. It wasn't a tornado warning, it was high winds. It didn't seem that bad but my parents lost their apple tree. I helped them clean up as we packed and left.
Getting home after 3 messed up my thoughts of running right away after getting home as I needed to go grocery shopping and I was feeling off food-wise and from driving. I felt better after shopping and had some time at 5 so I squeezed in a short run. I did 6 x 20sec at somewhere between stride and sprint. It wasn't very fun running between the reps (I am not so good at that lately).
Also, the cicadas have ramped up considerably since we left. It was deafening under some trees.
