Lunch run before snow hits. Helix and Drew and myself for 5 miles before splitting off. Drew and I called it a warm-up. No real workout agenda so we made it up. 1mi tempo in 5:46 to get the legs moving. Then 6 30sec on/off. We didn't really settle into a consistent pace, probably because we didn't really know what 3k pace should feel like. But we were generally in the 4:50 to 5:05 range. Finished with another mile at tempo in 5:35 (it started at tempo, but we gradually picked it up, maybe hoping to feel the same).
