Notes

I made sure to get up early to have time for this run. The plan was to head up Mt. Sanitas. Once again, I failed to memorize the approach to the trails and ended up wandering on roads for a half mile before finding another entrance.

The next 2 miles were pretty hard uphill, with the final 1/2 mile being more walking than running due to the steep and rocky trail.

I think I timed my summit well though as many people were at the top waiting for the sunrise, but I didn't have to deal with them on the trail. The descent wasn't nearly as steep and much more fun, though I did start to get worried when I was almost at an hour and pretty far away still.

I found the loop I wanted, and after a steady mile of climbing, I crashed on back down to finish.
