Plenty of daylight left and I couldn't pass it up on a warm sunny day like this. So I tried patching a tube, succeeded, did a much better job of putting the tube back in the tire, and was on my way. And what do you know? no flat tire this time. Maybe it's just when I don't care how long I bike that I don't have problems. The ride was enjoyable, the wind a bit colder than expected, but since I wasn't planning on any extended ride, I was getting bored after just 30min.
