Notes

The plan was a long run, though Drew was likely going shorter after a pained knee last night. We made it about 2 minutes before turning around, but it was me asking to turn back as I realized I had 2 hats on having forgotten to take off 1.

It was warmer than yesterday, pretty nice conditions actually. Though the path was still somewhat covered and icy or snowy at times. Drew's knee kept him cognizant and hesitant on the worse sections so some some miles were slower. The run was generally enjoyable and agreeable. Even my bathroom break came at an appropriate opportunity.

Drew called it good after 10.5, his knee not a bother. I continued North. More street crossings and therefore stoppages. But there was a 1/2 mile or so of cleared sidewalk that I enjoyed increasing my speed on. I especially picked it up on the return trip as I wanted to get to the intersection with a green light.

Another 14 miler. I could say I ran the entire length of the bike path today, I was just cut off on 1 end by construction and the other end by snow (no plowing).

What, couldn't run 14 miles with 2 hats on?
