Notes

Wanted to get some kind of idea of my fitness by doing a long tempo. Problem was I now could/needed to run on grass which is new. 30min tempo. First 10min on grass unsure of pace and breathing a good deal. Next 10min on gravel, felt quick and smooth and got my breathing under control. Final 10min on grass and some sidewalks; the grass just really makes me work harder and be less quick with each step, but I felt fast and was nearly sprinting at one point to cross a street in time. Overall happy but need to start focusing on flat, hard surfaces and going fast.
