Notes
An odd run where I felt better alone than with Sutton. I was expecting conditions like yesterday, but just as we started the sun came out and it quickly became a shirt's off sweaty run. Also just had tired legs (wth, since the grand blue mile, only my trail runs have started well).
We got further around some lakes than I've gone before and I was happy Sutton extended for 7 (he's had more injuries since his IT band in March).
I started to feel better towards the end of our run as the clouds came in and temps dropped foretelling the storm. Plus, I got a little break when Sutton stopped and our conversation continued. But obviously, it was the lady we passed who was playing the Greatest Showman out loud.
I added-on 2 miles feeling good so I threw in 1 more to get double d's; and picking it up to 6 flat pace for the last mile. Finished with a few strides on the nearby grass field. Had to stop at 4 as the tornado sirens went off. Casually walked to my car and then changed clothes in the bathroom. Got into my car about 2min before the hail came down. So actually cutting it closer than yesterday.
