Notes

As many of you probably noticed, it snowed overnight. This got me worrying about my workout (on trails). It stopped snowing at noon, and somehow all the snow was gone by 3. Odd considering the sun never came out and it wasn't that much warmer than freezing, probably the ground was warm enough and not ready for snow. So anyway, the trails ended up being pretty good, a few puddles and some slick spots.

After a speedy workout last week, I decided to get a long workout in today. In my mind I was thinking 7 miles tempo (likely because LHF is a 7 mile race), so let's say about 40 min. I started out conservatively but was feeling good. Unfortunately needed a bathroom break about 20 min in so I stopped. I wasn't too happy about that so when I started up again, I really pushed the pace. This ended up feeling good and I rolled for the next 20 minutes.

Another really good workout. Hopefully this doesn't mean I'm peaking (1 month to LFH) or going too slow. Maybe I'll try to get a solid week of miles since I've been in the 50's for awhile. Unfortunately I have training at work all week and don't have time for a lunch run.
