Notes

Drove to Sycamore to get some better trails for running fast. Longer warmup of 4 miles with a few too many pit stops along the way. Workout: 4min tempo, 3min 10k, 2min 5k w/ 2min rest between each; then 3 x 1min 3k w/ 1min rest

The tempo was maybe too easy, but the 10k piece was much better (on pace I think).

The 5k piece also felt great, though sometimes my feet would scrape the ground a bit much.

After the 5k, the recovery was a bit long as I ran to my car and switched to flats (good think I took the shortest route back, I almost didn't). The 3k's felt great to fly though the woods, though I might have been going too fast. So these became maybe more like a 'fast and relaxed' pace.

So my last 2 big(ger) workouts have gone great, but the other runs haven't felt as good, hopefully that is alright for racing.
