Notes
Warm-up was a loop around Grey's Lake. Somewhat nice to see lots of people while running. Plan was 6 x 1minute hard (mile-ish) with a minute rest with a 10 minute tempo on either side.
The first tempo went fairly easy, upper 5:40's. If tempo is what I can do for an hour, then I should probably be going faster, but I guess I'm going by effort.
I was looking forward to the faster pieces, but the first couple felt awkward. Maybe I was just more tired than my last few workouts during a taper. I did start to feel better on the last 4 pieces, but only after I started getting up on my toes.
To finish off this workout, I was hoping to my body would want to go faster on the 2nd tempo, but I ended up doing a similar pace. Overall, I did what I wanted to do though.
