Notes

After a few lazy days, I forced myself to do a hill workout several miles away to ensure some decent miles.

3 mile warmup (thumbs still cold from holding spikes), then switched to spikes (w/o pins). I started with a set of 3 x grass hills that took about a minute (63,61,57). These felt good and fast.

Then another set of 3 x hill but this time on the bike path and was closer to 1/4 mile (77,73,73). I didn't feel good at first but started cruising eventually. Tired but not a gut-busting workout.

The ~3miles back went by quickly and then I grabbed my sister's dog (Lola) for a short walk/run. She's a smaller/medium sized dog but got going pretty fast at times. She would make a great running partner if she didn't stop at every fire hydrant.

Thanks for the Lola commentary.

Hilarious.
