Notes

In Colorado for the weekend and running with Adam Dane, my old climbing partner. Incidentally, he hasn't climbed much either since the last I've seen him 3+ years ago despite living in Colorado. Instead, he's become a runner. Maybe not a fast enough runner for a flat run, but on trails it was good. We ran Green Mountain which I've done once before. We started with a long uphill and after catching myself wanting to go too fast a few times, I settled in behind Adam. I got comfortable in the stride and my only concern was loading my achilles too much as my slower stride meant more ground contact time. I think I held up find though.

My plan was just running an hour, but then it took 45min to get to the far end of the trails. We still could have likely made it back in 20min taking the direct trails, but Adam wanted the full loop so this became somewhat of a long run.

Rebel.

A climber who lives in CO and doesn't climb. He should be ashamed.
