Started with 4 miles west of town to extend the run. Returned home to change into my flats (might as well feel fast). The workout wasn't much of a workout, just something to get me feeling good about running fast, and grabbing a few segments while I'm at it.
Started with a mile+ at tempo that got a little harder as I went uphill. Long recovery on some grass and a random stride (note to self, do some barefoot running again). Finished with 2 x 1/2 mile at slightly faster than tempo. Mostly felt good, though my left foot wasn't too thrilled about flats it seemed. We'll see how progressing to faster stuff feels.
