Long run Monday. Drew was sidelined with work so I got a full mile in before he started (a very slow mile with several stops). We started and it seemed quite brutal out for not being super cold nor super windy. Helix was freezing from the start and I needed 10min for my face to get used to it.
I was feeling alright until a downhill and our first stop about 6 miles in. Then things gradually felt worse for the next 4 miles. Turning around also didn't seem any warmer as the wind was still at our side and the sun went down. My hands starting to feel real cold. Somehow they had gotten damp. So a few miserable miles as Drew continued to 2-step Helix and myself. But soon it was Helix that was fed up and wanting the run to be over. I thought about telling both to leave me but I was maybe feeling better and I attempted to pick it up. Thankfully that turned out alright and I started feeling great by the end of the run. I still turned down Drew's offer of adding on, though, as my hands were very cold.
